“#Shaman King Anime Heads to Smartphones in Mobile Game This Year”
The new Shaman King anime is currently running in Japan and heading to Netflix in other regions later, and now there’s a new mobile game to go along with it. Studio Z is in charge of development for Shaman King: Funbari Chronicle, which is currently slated for release on iOS and Android sometime this year.
Ahead of that, pre-registration is set to go live this July.
Featuring familiar art from the new anime adaptation, 3D models in battles, and a storyline straight from Hiroyuki Takei’s original manga, Shaman King: Funbari Chronicle lets players create teams and duke it out with enemies from the series. More information will be revealed as we get closer to pre-reg launch, but for now you can see what it’s going for in the screens below.
Stay tuned for more, including any possible plans for release outside of Japan.
