“Eren the Southpaw Manga To Be Adapted into Anime”

Kappi‘s Eren the Southpaw manga is getting an anime adaptation.

In their tweet announcing the anime, Kappi noted that the adaptation will be based on the original version of the manga, which was serialized from 2016 to 2017 on the now-defunct cakes website. The manga’s chapters are published on note and have been collected into 28 Kindle volumes that are available on Amazon.

Eren the Southpaw follows a young designer at an advertising firm called Kouichi Asakura, who works hard while dreaming of becoming famous. One day, he remembers a genius he met in his high school days called Eren.

A Shueisha-published remake written by Kappi and drawn by nifuni was serialized on Shonen Jump+ from 2017 to 2022 and published under the Jump Comic + label. The 23rd tankoubon volume is set to be released on December 2, 2022. Eren the Southpaw previously inspired a 2019 TV drama.
