#The Oldest Three Soma’s and Japan’s Red Cross Team Up for Fruits Basket Collaboration

Ahead of the release of the special Fruits Basket -prelude- episodes that are schduled for a theatrical release of February 18 in Japan, the three oldest Soma’s, who are known as the Mabudachi Trio or The Three Musketeers in English, Shigure, Hatori, and Ayame, are collaborating with the Japanese Red Cross Society to help drive up blood donations in Kanagawa prefecture. Those who donate blood will be given an exclusive sticker set and clear file featuring the Soma’s wearing snappy doctor’s coats.

The clear files will only be avaiable in blood donations centers in Kanagawa prefecture, south of Tokyo, though is open to anyone in the country depending on the physical condition on the day. The stickers will only be avaiable via a coupon redeemed at an Animate store in the prefecture.

 

The prequel story, Fruits Basket -prelude-, will be released alongside a digest of the series as well as the sequel story on February 18, 2022. A Blu-ray of the stories will be released on the same day in theater shops in Japan. The entire three seasons of Fruits Basket are streaming right now on Crunchyroll, which describes the series as such:

 

Tohru Honda thought her life was headed for misfortune when a family tragedy left her living in a tent. When her small home is discovered by the mysterious Soma clan, she suddenly finds herself living with Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure Soma. But she quickly learns their family has a bizarre secret of their own: when hugged by the opposite sex, they turn into the animals of the Zodiac!
