3 More New Cast Members Join Apocalypse Hotel TV Anime Series

Three more new cast members are joining the ongoing Apocalypse Hotel TV anime series. The original anime began airing in Japan on April 8, 2025 and will run for 12 episodes. 

The three new cast members include Takahide Adachi as Gentle Alien, Kenjiro Tsuda as Aggressive Alien, and Hina Kino as Tamako, who is the daughter of Ponko and Ponstin.

They join the anime’s voice cast, which stars:

  • • Sumire Moroboshi as Ponko
  • • Hiroki Tochi as Doorman Robot 
  • • Shinichiro Miki as Environment Checker Robot 
  • • Hiroyuki Kinoshita as Owner 
  • • Cho as Bumbuku
  • • Takako Honda as Mami 
  • • Mutsumi Tamura as Fuguri 
  • • Yoshiko Sakakibara as Mujina 
  • • Natsuki Hanae as Ponstin

Kana Shundo (Luminous Witches and Princess Connect Re:Dive assistant director) is directing the anime series, with Shigeru Murakoshi (I Parry Everything and Dark Gathering series screenwriter and co-scriptwriter) and series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Izumi Takemoto (creator of Apple Paradise and Aoi-chan Panic!) as original character designer, Natsuki Yokoyama (Gymnastics Samurai co-sub character designer) as character designer, Kohei Honda (Akiba Maid War) as background art director, Miyuki Sunako (Ahiru no Sora) as color designer, Masaharu Okazaki (86 EIGHTY-SIX) as composting director, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Land of the Lustrous) as music composer. CygamesPictures is handling the animation production. 

A spin-off manga series titled Apocalypse Hotel Pusupusu began serialization on Takeshobo’s Storia Dash website on April 11, 2025.

Crunchyroll is streaming Apocalypse Hotel worldwide, outside of Japan, and describes the main synopsis as: 

Following the collapse of civilization, one storied hotel stands among the ruins of Tokyo’s Ginza district. Overrun by nature, this lone hotel continues to defy humanity’s collapse. Current guests: zero. Check-ins scheduled today: zero. Yesterday’s website traffic: zero. Enter with caution in this story of survival and mystery in a world where the memory of humanity begins to fade.
