#Yozakura Family Announces More Main Cast Members

The second round of main cast announcements for the upcoming Mission: Yozakura Family anime adaptation is here.

Announced this time are Kazuyuki Okitsu as Shinzou Yozakura, Aoi Yuuki as Shion Yozakura, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Kengo Yozakura and Goriate, and Yumi Uchiyama as Nao Yozakura. The previously announced voice actors were Reiji Kawashima as Taiyo Asano, Kaede Hondo as Mutsumi Yozakura, Katsuyuki Konishi as Kyoichiro Yozakura, and Akari Kitou as Futaba Yozakura. 

Mission: Yozakura Family is based on the Shueisha-published action-comedy manga by Hitsuji Gondaira. Viz Media describes the plot as: 

Taiyo Asano is a super-shy high school student and the only person he can talk to is his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura. However, Mutsumi comes from a line of master spies with amazing powers. Her oldest brother, Kyoichiro, is obsessed with Mutsumi and out to kill anyone who gets remotely near her—and his next target is Taiyo! The only way for Taiyo to save himself from Kyoichiro’s murderous clutches is to marry Mutsumi!

Mission: Yozakura Family began in 2020 and has 19 tankoubon volumes as of September 2023. The series is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and published under the Jump Comics Digital label.
