#Yorushika’s Opening Theme for The Dangers in My Heart Receives Animated Music Video

Yorushika recently uploaded an animated music video for “Setting Sun,” the opening theme for the currently airing romantic comedy anime The Dangers in My Heart.

The painterly “Setting Sun” video is directed by Yutaro Kubo, the co-director of The Girl From the Other Side. Satomi Maiya, Kubo’s The Girl From the Other Side co-director, served as art director while Miyu Kobayashi (“Fuyu no Okurimono”) is credited with coloring and color design assistance. Three WIT STUDIO staff are credited with production assistance.

“Setting Sun” was released on digital on May 8. The Dangers in My Heart anime, directed by Hiroaki Akagi (Teasing Master Takagi-san) at Shin-Ei Animation, begin airing on April 1 (effectively April 2 at 1:30 AM JST) with HIDIVE and Bilibili streaming outside of Japan.

HIDIVE describes the anime, which is an adaptation of the Akita Shoten-published manga by Norio Sakurai, as:

“Fascinated by murder and all things macabre, Kyotaro fantasizes about acting on his twisted thoughts to the detriment of his classmates. His heart was dark until an encounter with Anna lit a spark within it in a classic tale of antisocial boy meets popular girl. Now they must both navigate a blossoming relationship and defy the expectations they have of each other and themselves.”
