VIZ Manga Adds Yuhiro Tsujitsugu’s Snowball Earth Manga Series
VIZ Media’s VIZ Manga app has added Yuhiro Tsujitsugu’s Snowball Earth science fiction manga series as a new simulpub title. Multiple chapters of the series are now available on the service’s app and website, with the first three chapters and the latest three chapters available for free.
The company confirmed that chapters 26-39 of the series are currently unavailable, but will be backfilled later in the future.
After losing the final battle against intergalactic kaiju, Earth has frozen beneath a blanket of ice and snow! Can Tetsuo, humanity’s former savior, save the planet–and more importantly–make friends in this frozen wasteland?!

Snowball Earth was first licensed by VIZ in June 2023, with the first volume being published in English on April 16, 2024.
Tsujitsugu launched the manga in Shogakukan’s Monthly Big Comic Spirits magazine on January 27, 2021. Eight tankobon volumes have been released as of November 2024.
VIZ describes the main premise of Snowball Earth as:
Young mecha pilot Tetsuo survives the last great battle against an alien horde. He awakens from his escape pod on Earth eight years later, to a world in ruins and frozen beneath a blanket of ice!
