Two special editions of the final Attack on Titan manga volume will be released in Japan to celebrate both the start and the end of the series on June 9. The final chapter of the epic series was released on April 9 in the May issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, which will be getting reprints this month due to the popularity of the issue.
One edition of the final volume, Volume 34, “Beginning” will be exclusive to book shops and online retailers in Japan and will contain two drafts of the series that were submitted to the editors of the magazine before serialization started. the other edition, “Ending,” will be exclusive to convenience stores in Japan and contain the drafts for chapters 138 and 139.
These special editions will go on sale inside Japan on June 9 alongside a regular edition of the final Attack on Titan manga volume. The English version will be released on October 19, 2021.
The Attack on Titan manga started in September 2009 and has so far released 33 volumes of the series in Japan. The final volume, the 34th, is scheduled to be released on June 9. Kodansha Comic releases the series in English, with each chapter released simultaneously on Crunchyroll as they came out in Japan.
