The Rising of the Shield Hero anime—based on the hit light novel series by Aneko Yusagi—previously revealed plans to continue with a second season this October, but that schedule has shifted. Due to “various reasons,” The Rising of the Shield Hero season 2 is now set to broadcast in Japan in April 2022.
