Manga author Keisuke Itagaki (Baki) is no stranger to intense displays of martial arts prowess in the pages of his comic books, but thanks to a TV documentary program that will soon broadcast on BS-TBS, Itagaki will also get a chance to pursue the strongest martial arts in the world in real life by attending various dojos and learning hand-to-hand fighting techniques.

The TV program, entitled Itagaki Keisuke ga Iku! Saikyo Dojo (“Keisuke Itagaki Goes to the Strongest Dojos!”) will broadcast on BS-TBS on Saturday, March 20, 2021, from 2:00am – 3:00am JST. The first episode focuses on Jeet Kune Do, a modern martial art created by Bruce Lee, while the second episode focuses on Imi Krav Maga, a modern martial art developed by the Israeli Defense Forces based on the street-fighting techniques of resistance fighter Imi Lichtenfeld.
