#The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt Anime Reveals Additional Cast, Theme Song Artists, Premieres January 11

The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Touru Toba’s The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt (Hey, How About Treason?) (Tensai Ōji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu – Sō da, Baikoku Shiyō) light novel series revealed its additional cast, theme song artists, and January 11 premiere date.

The anime’s new cast members include Takayuki Sugo as Hagar, Daiki Hamano as Lachram, Akio Ohtsuka as Gruer, Rie Kugimiya as Torcheila, Mamiko Noto as Gardmeria, Ryouichi Kijima as Deuterio, Kenichirou Matsuda as Bartholorush, and Kengo Kawanishi as Manfred. Other cast members include Youko Hikasa as Fyshe Blundell, Yuki Sakakihara as Nanaki Ralei, Yuki Nakashima as Zeno, Souma Saitou as Wein Salema Arbalest, Rie Takahashi as Ninym Ralei, Sayaka Senbongi as Falanya Elk Arbalest, and Nao Touyama as Lowellmina Earthworld.

Nagi Yanagi and the band THE SIXTH LIE will perform the opening theme song “Level,” while Yoshino Nanjou will perform the ending theme song “Hitori to Kimi to” (Alone and With You).

The anime’s staff includes Masato Tamagawa (Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō) as director, Xin Ya Cai (Starlight Promises) as assistant director, Deko Akao (Noragami, Higehiro) as script supervisor, Ryūnosuke Ouji as character designer, Yoshihiro Tsukashita (Momokyun Sword 3DCGI) as 3D director, Kagoshima Ramecahirim’s Hirotsugu Kakoi (Zoku Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei) as art director, Wish’s Fusaku Nakao (Dr. Stone) as color designer, editz’s Mai Hasegawa (Blue Lock) as editor, animocaramel’s Natsumi Uchida as director of photography, Ryousuke Naya (Drug Store in Another World – The Slow Life of a Cheat Pharmacist) as sound director, and Toshihiko Sahashi (Full Metal Panic!) as music composer. Yokohama Animation Lab is handling the animation production.

The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt light novel series is published by SB Creative with illustrations by Falmaro. Three volumes have been published so far, and the first volume was first published in May 2018.

Yen Press publishes the novels in English and describes the story as:
