#Texas school shooter suspect charged, mugshot released: report

The suspected teenage school shooter who allegedly injured four people when he opened fire at a high school was slapped with a number of charges Wednesday — as police released a mugshot of him following his arrest, a report said.

Timothy George Simpkins, 18, was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to KDFW, which obtained the mugshot of the suspect.

Simpkins turned himself Wednesday afternoon after officials launched a manhunt for the Timberview High School student accused of firing a .45 caliber gun during a fight with another student.

A 15-year-old boy remained in critical condition after being shot, police said. A 25-year-old man who was also shot was in good condition, along with a teenage girl who was not struck by gunfire, according to cops.

A pregnant teacher was injured after she fell during the incident, but was not hospitalized, officials said.

A video taken by a student and published by the local Fox affiliate showed the apparent build-up to the shooting, as a teen matching Simpkins’ mugshot slugged a classmate during a fight.

Simpkins was being held on $75,000 bond, according to the report.
