It has only been a few days since the SPY x FAMILY manga editor Shuhei Lin revealed on Twitter that Tatsuya Endo‘s domestic espionage manga series had over 17 million copies of the collected volumes printed (physically) and sold (digitally) but he reported in again today to reveal that the series has surpassed that, with over 18 million copies printed (physically) and sold (digitally)!

With no new volumes released of the SPY x FAMILY manga released today, this one million increase comes from the reprinted volumes of the series, which went on sale today in Japan with a new obi wraparound band announcing the milestone. The previous number was likely from the last reprinting, which occurred late last month.

SPY x FAMILY was the first series serialized on the digital Shonen Jump+ platform to hit the 10 million copies milestone since the platform opened, and is released in Japan every two weeks. The anime adaptation directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi at both WIT Studio and Cloverworks streams on Crunchyroll every Saturday, who describes the series as such:
