In Japan still without an exact start date, but announced in Germany at ProSieben MAXX as a simulcast: “Date A Live IV”…

ProSieben MAXX kept a promise from our interview last year: the German TV station tries his hand at a first anime simulcast (find the interview here). After the third season of “Date A Live”, which will celebrate its German TV premiere next Friday, season 4 will continue seamlessly.

From April 8, 2022, “Date A Live IV” will be shown on German television at 11:15 p.m. in Japanese with German subtitles. The Japanese TV date is currently only roughly known as April 2022, but will start before the German TV simulcast. While the third season is shown on Fridays with 3 episodes each, the fourth season has to make do with only one episode per week due to the broadcast in Japan. After the simulcast of “Date A Live IV” in the Anime Night you can watch the respective episodes as usual in the station’s free online media library or on Joyn free of charge repeat.

The license was obtained from the publisher of the previous “Date A Live” titles: AniMoon Publishing. After the broadcast you can count on a disc launch.
