“#Original Water Polo Anime RE-MAIN Announced by MAPPA”
MAPPA (Attack on Titan Final Season, Yuri!!! on Ice, Zombie Land Saga) announced a new original anime project titled RE-MAIN with Tiger & Bunny writer Masafumi Nishida. The anime is scheduled for 2021.
Nishida will be the chief director, series composer, script writer with Kiyoshi Matsuda (Kakegurui Season 2 director) as director, Kasei Tsukito as character drafter, Shiho Tanaka (Banana Fish chief animation director) as character designer and Kana Utatane as music composer.
The main cast will include Yuto Uemura (Atsushi from Bungo Stray Dogs) playing as Shimizu Minato, Kotaro Nishyama (Kazuhito Narita from Haikyu!!) as Eitaro Oka, Subaru Kimura (Aoi Toudou from JUJUTSU KAISEN) as Yuzuru Shiroshima, and Lynn (Princess Hibana from Fire Force) as Kawakubo Chinu.
