“#NieR Re[in]carnation Director Updates Status on Western Release”

Square Enix is going all out with the localization of mobile game NieR Re[in]carnation, and we got an update on the status of its western release plans this week via director Daichi Matsukawa. According to the statement, localization is underway and dates for pre-registration and launch will be announced once they're officially confirmed.

Matsukawa adds that the localization process includes recording all character voices in English. The team also plans to fix bugs after the game's initial release in Japan, and Matsukawa thanks fans for their patience and understanding as they work to ensure a pristine release in the west.
