#Netflix shows new “One Piece” Egghead arc

Netflix has dropped the bomb and is grabbing the rights to the delayed simulcast for the new “One Piece” season.

As Netflix in the USA has announced, just a few days after the start of the new Egghead arc «One Piece» will also bring the season to Netflix in a time-shifted simulcast. The Egghead arc begins with episode 1086 and only starts today, January 7th in Japan. The first episode of the arc will be available to watch on Netflix from January 13th. The big question for us here is probably: Does this also affect Netflix Germany? In addition to the USA, the local branches of Netflix in France and the Philippines have so far confirmed the start of the new “One Piece” arc. There is currently no information from Netflix Germany as to when and whether the arc will also start in this country. In Germany, the simulcast is still available directly from the anime streaming service Crunchyroll.

This news comes just a few weeks after the news that Netflix is producing a remake series of the first seasons of “One Piece” (we have reported about it).

As soon as we have new information from Netflix about a possible broadcast in Germany, we will of course inform you in good time.
