#Maaya Uchida Releases Music Video with Striking Sky and Mirrors for SSSS.DYNAZENON ED Theme

Pony Canyon’s official anime YouTube channel has started streaming a 90-second music video for anime voice actress Maaya Uchida‘s upcoming 12th single song “Strobe Memory” to be released on May 12, 2021. The medium rock number will be featured as the ED theme for the forthcoming TV anime SSSS.DYNAZENON to premiere in Japan in April 2021.

The song is written/composed/arranged by RIRIKO, who previously worked on Uchida’s eighth single song “youthful beautiful” released in October 2018. The theme of the song is about “being close to your loved one and walking with them.”

The music video for the song shows a lot of depictions of the “sky,” which is linked to the lyrics. Its atmosphere changes in accordance with the waves of the song and various emotions, such as hesitation, determination, and moments of clarity. Mirrors also make an impressive appearance in the clip. The element of self-reflection in the lyrics seems to be projected in the motif of a mirror looking at oneself.

Message from Maaya Uchida:

I hope that this melody will reach you with the story of “SSSS.DYNAZENON.” And I also hope that this song, which I sing with all my heart, will save you. This is a song that contains a lot of wishes.
