#LeBron James’ wife Savannah ‘not enjoying’ NBA bubble experience

The Lakers’ 112-102 win over Houston in Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals on Tuesday was another milestone for LeBron James.

He passed Derek Fisher for most playoff victories, with 162, but the record apparently came with a cost.

“I’m not going to tell you exactly what I do,’’ James said about how he’s stayed successful for so long. “Because I would be giving my opponents a lot of my ingredients. But let’s just say my wife is not enjoying what I do on a day-to-day basis inside the bubble getting ready for a game. Let’s just say that. I spent a lot of time, a lot of time on my body.”

It’s paying off again for the Lakers and James, who had 36 points, seven rebounds and five assists in Tuesday’s win.

The 35-year-old James had his wife, Savannah, join him in the NBA playoff bubble, but his three children stayed away, with James saying Sunday, “there’s nothing for them to do” at the quarantined site in Orlando.

“Nobody spends more time focused on his body than LeBron James,” Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said.

Whatever James is doing, it’s working.

“It’s very humbling and something I never dreamed of,’’ James said of passing Fisher. “I never came into the league as a kid thinking, ‘I’m going to be No. 1 in playoff wins.’ I just want to be part of a winning culture and be a winning player and do whatever it takes to help my teammates win.”

One of those teammates, Anthony Davis, continues to be awed by what the 35-year-old James can do.

“Nothing’s surprising for us,’’ Davis said. “The things he’s able to do at this age [are] still unbelievable. I feel like every game he’s breaking another record. So I’m glad I’m his teammate and get to witness it firsthand this season. He’s going to continue to break more and continue to get better for however he continues to play. But it seemed like he’s drinking from the fountain of youth.”
