KADOKAWA revealed new details including cast and staff members for the upcoming anime adaptation of Keikenzumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiaisuru Hanashi (KimiZero). Natsuki Hanae will voice Ryuuto Kashima and Saori Onishi will voice Runa Shirakawa.

The main staff includes Hideaki Ohba (Love of Kill) as director, Hiroko Fukuda (Teasing Master Takagi-san) as series composer, and Yosuke Itou (Management of a Novice Alchemist) as character designer.

A special Christmas illustration featuring Runa was also released. 

The KimiZero series by Makiko Nagaoka began in 2020 and will see the release of its fifth volume on September 20. It is published under Kadokawa’s Fantasia Bunko label. The story centers around the relationship between the gloomy Ryuto Kashima and the popular Runa, who end up dating each other after the former is forced to confess to the latter in a punishment game.

The light novels have also inspired a Square Enix-published manga adaptation by Carpaccio Noyama.
