The latter two are special maneuvers known from anime and manga. Similar to «Dragon Ball FighterZ» you can trigger special Dramatic Finish scenes under certain conditions. For example, in DIO’s Villa Vanilla Ice, true to the anime and manga, Polnareff can punch a hole in the wall and expose it to the sun, causing it to crumble into dust. The “Easy Beat” function is brand new in the remaster. This allows fighting game beginners to trigger combos with a simple keystroke. If you prefer to do combos yourself, you can switch off the function in the settings. Also new are assists, with which you can interrupt the enemy’s attack sequence, dash jumps for faster movement and hit stops to irritate opponents. The whole thing, paired with new combo options, offers more depth in terms of gameplay than the original, which in turn can demand more tactical and strategic thinking from the player.

The remaster not only brings innovations and improvements in terms of gameplay. There were also graphical and sound technical improvements. The game got a graphics and 60 FPS upgrade with the remaster. This is «JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R» so far the most beautiful and liquid «JoJo» game of all time. Additionally, new voicelines for various characters, narrated by the anime voice actors, have been added to the game. Fans of the anime series can definitely look forward to well-known voices.

So fans can expect a «JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure»-Game that not only convinces with numerous Easter eggs and references from the anime and manga series, but also boasts only the best in terms of graphics and gameplay.
