#I’m Standing on a Million Lives Season 2 Gets New Preview Featuring New Characters

Warner Bros. Japan released a new preview trailer for I’m Standing on a Million Lives Season 2. The trailer features new characters and its voice cast. The anime is scheduled to air on July 3 in Japan with a recap episode of the first season.

Thanzamar will be voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya and Glenda Carte will be voiced by Saori Hayami. The main cast includes: 

Yusuke Yotsuya by Yuto Uemur
Iu Shindo by Risa Kubota
Kusue Hakozaki by Azumi Waki
Yuka Tokitate by Makoto Koichi
Keita Torii by Toshiyuki Toyonaga
Yana by Ayana Taketatsu
Aoiu by Aoi Yuki
Cantil by Shinichiro Miki

MAHO FILM is in charge of the animation production with various key staff returning such as Kumiko Habara as director, Takao Yoshioka as series composer, Ken Ito as music composer, Satoru Shibata as art director, and others. 

Kanako Takatsuki is performing the ending theme song “Subversive.” Japanese Virtual YouTuber (VTuber) Kaede Higuchi from the Nijisanji group will perform the opening theme song “Baddast.”

The anime is based on the manga series written by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Akinari Nao. Kodansha USA is publishing the manga in English.

Warner Bros. Japan describes the series as: 

Aloof and logical middle school third-year Yusuke Yotsuya is transported to a game-like alternate world. He becomes a third player and takes on a dangerous quest with his classmates Iu Shindo and Kusue Hakozaki, who were transported there earlier. The cold Yusuke eschews emotionalism and examines all elements with detachment, sometimes even toying with the lives of his companions. Can he protect his party from attacking monsters, difficult incidents, and powerful scheming enemies and win the game?
