#I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince Highlights Assassin’s Guild in Latest Visual & Trailer
Bandai Namco Filmworks has released a new special visual and trailer for I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability, highlighting the upcoming Assassin’s Guild story arc. The TV anime series first premiered in Japan on April 2, 2024.
The newest key visual was created by the series’ animation production studio Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab. It depicts a lively, magical aerial battle between Lloyd and the Assassin’s Guild leader, Jade.
Additionally, the latest trailer for the anime highlights the Assassin’s Guild storyline, which will begin on the anime’s seventh episode. The new trailer features Lloyd facing off against six deadly assassins with superpowers, as well as the debut of the character, Ren.
The trailer also introduces a lineup of five new cast members and characters from the Assassin’s Guild, which include:

- • Satomi Akesaka as Talia
- • Shunichi Toki as Babylon
- • Tomokazu Sugita as Galilea
- • Takuma Nagatsuka as Crow
They join a main voice cast that includes:

- • Rie Takahashi as Ren
- • Shun Horie as Albert
- • Yuuya Hirose as Dian
- • Akane Kumada as Alieze
- • Eriko Matsui as Shiro
Jin Tamamura (A Sister’s All You Need series director) is directing the anime series, with Naoki Tozuka (T.P. Sakura: Time Paladin Sakura) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Naru Nishikori (Shadowverse Flame in-between checker) as character designer and chief animation director, Yuuichi Abe (Superior Defender Gundam Force director) as action director, and R.O.N as music composer.
The anime is based on the light novels written by Kenkyo na Circle and illustrated by Meru. It was first published by Kodansha’s Ranobe Bunko on July 2, 2020 and has released seven volumes as of December 2023. The series began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on October 31, 2019.
A manga adaptation by Yosuke Kokuzawa began serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website and app on June 27, 2020. Fifteen tankobon volumes have been released as of April 9, 2024. Kodansha USA releases the manga series in English.
A spinoff manga by Keiri Amamiya was launched in Magazine Pocket on February 17, 2024.

The qualities valued most in the study of magic are bloodline, aptitude, and effort.
There was one sorcerer who, despite his deep love for magic, was born a commoner and thus lacked the bloodline and aptitude for it. As he died an unnatural death, he wished he had studied magic more while he had the chance. Then, he was reincarnated as Lloyd, the seventh prince of the Kingdom of Saloum and one blessed with a strong magical bloodline.
Reborn with all his memories intact, along with the perfect bloodline and immense talent, he was determined to enjoy his new life, using his extraordinary magical abilities to master the study of magic that was beyond his reach in his previous life!
