#Hina Kino & Reina Ueda Join No Longer Allowed In Another World Voice Cast

Kadokawa announced during the weekend of AnimeJapan 2024 that voice actresses Hina Kino and Reina Ueda are joining the voice cast of No Longer Allowed In Another World. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan in July 2024.

Kino will voice the small flying creature Melos, while Ueda will voice Sensei’s friend from the past life Sacchan.

They join a main voice cast that includes:

• Hiroshi Kamiya as Sensei
• Rumi Ookubo as Annette
• Sayumi Suzushiro as Tama
• Makoto Koichi as Nir

Shigeki Kawai (Uncle From Another World) is directing the anime, with Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Chained Soldier) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Tomoshige Inayoshi (Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes character designer, Battle Spirits: Kakumei no Galette co-designer) and Asako Inayoshi (Battle Spirits: Kakumei no Galette co-designer) as character designer and chief animation directors, Kenji Terao (Uncle From Another World) as monster designer, and Kenichiro Suehiro (Undead Unluck, Uncle From Another World) as music composer. Atelier Pontdarc is in charge of the animation production.

The anime is based on the isekai fantasy manga written by Hiroshi Noda and illustrated by Takahiro Wakamatsu, which was first launched in Shogakukan’s Yawaraka Spirits website on October 2, 2019 and has released 10 tankobon volumes as of February 2024.

Seven Seas Entertainment releases the No Longer Allowed In Another World manga in English, describing the premise as:

An adventure in another world with cute girls by your side and video game-like powers–sounds like an anime fan’s dream, right? Not so for melancholic author Osamu Dazai, who would quite literally prefer to drop dead. Video games haven’t even been invented yet when he gets yanked into another world in 1948.
