#Girls’ Frontline Anime Scheduled for 2022, New PV Trailer

Warner Bros. Japan announced that the anime adaptation of the mobile game Girls’ Frontline is now scheduled for 2022. A new preview trailer was also revealed featuring M4A1, M16A1, ST AR-15, and M4 SOPMOD II. 

Key staff members were also revealed with Shigeru Ueda (Peach Boy Riverside) as director, Hideyuki Kurata (Made in Abyss) as series composer and screenplay writer, Masaki Yamada (Tiger & Bunny) as character designer, and Takashi Watanabe as music composer. Asahi Production is in charge of the animation production. 

Haruka Tomatsu (Kyoko Hori from Horimiya) will voice M4A1, Nozomi Yamane (Javelin from Azur Lane) will voice M16A1, Emiri Katō (Kyubey from Madoka Magica) will voice ST AR-15, and Yukari Tamura (Jibril from No Game No Life) will voice M4 SOPMOD II. 

The opening theme song will be “Bad Candy” performed by yukaDD(;´∀｀). 

Girls’ Frontline is currently available on iOS and Android worldwide. The English version was released on May 8, 2018. The game is developed by SUNBORN Network Technology and MICA TEAM.
