Dungeons & Television Indie Anime from Makeine ED Animator Releases Episode 1 Preview

The indie anime Dungeons & Television, which is directed by the co-animator of Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!‘s first ending sequence JunchukanBonta, has released a short preview for its first episode.

The episode will be released in early August on Youtube. It previously premiered as part of the Niigata International Animation Film Festival’s The State of Indie Animation – Toward the Indie Showcase.

Dungeons & Television was previously a pilot film that was released in April 2024 with English subtitles. The premise is described as:

This film is a story about mass media in a fantasy world. The boy who was thrown out of the team meets Shi, a reporter, and a television broadcasting crew. They work together and do a live broadcast of the dungeon. In addition, through competition and troubles with rivals, They will come face to face with the fun of making television programs and the ethical issues required of mass media.
