Voice actor Kenji Utsumi (Raoh in Fist of the North Star, Senbei Norimaki in Dr. Slump, Alex Louis Armstrong in Fullmetal Alchemist) passed away in 2013, but a new documentary film entitled Sono Koe no Anata e (“To You of That Voice”) which looks back at the life and career of Utsumi will be published in Japan on September 30, 2022.

 

The documentary consists of interviews with voice actors such as Akira Kamiya, Hidekatsu Shibata, Keiko Toda, Masako Nozawa, and Michio Hazama (all pictured above), as well as dramatizations of Utsumi’s life. Sono Koe no Anata e is written and directed by Yusuke Sakakibara, produced by and pictures, and distributed by Nakachika / T Joy.
