The young gunman being hunted by police for a gun battle that left two dead during riots in Kenosha had tried to turn himself in — but armored police vehicles didn’t stop for the gun-toting teen and instead drove straight past him, viral video appears to show.

The heavily armed shooter — a militia member allegedly 17 years old, according to reports — was filmed opening fire repeatedly after falling to the ground and being attacked after being chased from where a man had just been shot in the head nearby.

He then casually gets up and walks away, only turning with his rifle raised at the sound of other gunshots, the clip shows.

The shooter, his rifle slung around his body, then breaks into a jog as several law enforcement vehicles arrive within seconds, stopping when close to raise his hands in surrender, the clip shows.

“Dude right here just shot all of them down there!” a male voice screams at officers as the shooter continues to walk in the middle off the road toward the police vehicles, his hands still raised in surrender.

Despite his hands raised and his rifle clearly on display, at least three BearCat armored vehicles drive past him, asking over a loudspeaker about injuries.

“Get out of the road!” one of the officers appears to shout, as the gunman walks toward a police gun — then appears to just walk away at the end of the clip filmed by reporter Brendan Gutenschwager.

Earlier in the evening, police thanked the militia members and offered them water, according to video from the scene.

Officials later confirmed to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that a suspect was still being hunted, seemingly confirming the video’s suggestion that he was not arrested despite appearing to try to turn himself in.

“I feel very confident we’ll have him in a very short time,” Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth told the paper.

Two died, one shot in the head and one in the chest, officials confirmed. Another — shown in photos with a grisly wound to his right arm — was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The sheriff told the Journal Sentinel that armed people had been patrolling the city’s streets on recent nights, but he did not know if the gunman was among them.

“They’re a militia,” Beth said. “They’re like a vigilante group.”

The FBI is helping investigate. “We’ve got a lot of resources that are helping us pull this stuff together,” Beth said of the shooting investigation.
