#Charlie Morton will propel Atlanta

Atlanta lost its opener on Thursday, then lost the MLB All-Star Game on Friday, but they have our vote on Saturday. The 37-year-old Charlie Morton will make his first start for the Bravos since he debuted way back in 2008. The reliable Morton went 2-2 for the Rays last year before getting blown up by the Dodgers in Game 3 of the World Series. The Braves will look to even their series with the Phillies, who will pitch Zack Wheeler. The former Met went 4-2 last year for the underachieving Phillies, who are expected to have trouble keeping pace with not only the Braves, but with Wheeler’s old team, as well. Let’s play two. 39-year-old Adam Wainwright, a lifetime Cardinal, went 5-3 in 2020. St. Louis, projected to win the NL Central, visits the Reds, who counter with Tyler Mahle. He made three starts against the Redbirds last year, going 0-1 with an ERA of 6.39. Play 10 units on the Cardinals.
