“Chainsaw Man Creator Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Newest One-Shot Gets Named, Visual”

A week back, Jump+ editor Shihei Lin teased a new one-shot from Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto for the following week. It’s nearly a week later and ahead of the release of the 200-page one-shot tomorrow, Lin revealed that the newest work from Fujimoto will be titled Sayonara Eri (Goodbye Eri) alongside a visual of what may be the titular main character.

After the first part of the Chainsaw Man manga ended in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2020, Fujimoto has been working on one-shots for the online manga platform, with his last, Look Back, receiving critical acclaim and winning numerous awards, including topping the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! survey.

Sayanora Eri is set to be released on Jump+ on April 11 and if Fujimoto‘s last few works are any indication, we’re in for a ride. There’s no word if Sayanora Eri will get an English release. The next part of Chainsaw Man is scheduled to be released in Q3 2022 on Jump+.
