Seven Seas Entertainment has announced the acquisition of the mystery light novel series, The Case Files of Jeweler Richard, under their Airship imprint. They have also licensed two new manga series: Hunting in Another World With My Elf Wife and I Get the Feeling That Nobukuni-san Likes Me. 

All titles will be released for the first time in North America on both print and digital platforms. 

The highly acclaimed mystery light novel series The Case Files of Jeweler Richard is written by Nanako Tsujimura and illustrated by Utako Yukihiro. It follows a young Japanese college student teaming up with a handsome jewelry appraiser to solve various cases that come their way. 

The light novels have already inspired a 12-episode 2020 anime adaptation by Shuka that was streamed on Crunchyroll. It also inspired a manga adaptation that was licensed and released by Seven Seas Entertainment. The first light novel will be released in September 2022 in single large volumes.

When Seigi Nakata rescued a handsome young jewelry appraiser from a group of drunken assailants, he got more than he bargained for! Another series Seven Seas has licensed is the manga adaptation Hunting in Another World With My Elf Wife, based on the light novel of the same name. Original creator Jupiter Studio is credited with the manga’s story while artist Kaltoma handles the art. 

The isekai fantasy manga about a hunter from Hokkaido and a beautiful elf huntress will have its first volume released in October 2022 in single volume editions. 

The series is described as: 

In an attempt to save a child from a wild beast, skilled hunter Shin Nakajima was killed by a bear. But a goddess has summoned him to another world–along with his prized Remington Model 870 shotgun! Nakajima was a member of his local hunters’ association back on Earth, but it’s going to take more than standard skills to protect himself from the fantasy creatures in this place. The sexy romantic comedy manga I Get the Feeling That Nobukuni-san Likes Me will also be released later this year. The series is written and illustrated by Kousuke Yasuda. It was first serialized in Hakusensha’s seinen magazine Young Animal in September 2020. The story follows a young woman trying to figure out how to seduce her crush.

The first volume of I Get the Feeling That Nobukuni-san Likes Me will be released in November 2022 in single volume editions. 

The manga is described as:

Nobukuni is in love with Sasaki, a boy who sits next to her in class. But how can she get him to notice her? A deep dive into teen magazines and heeding the advice of a cool girl in class gives Nobukuni all kinds of ideas: try to sleep cutely at her desk, flash a little skin, and kindly waft some of her pheromones in Sasaki’s direction.
