#Idol Group DEAR KISS Holds Their 1st Virtual Live Concert Using 3D Avatars

 

 

A five-member Japanese idol group DEAR KISS announced today that "DEAR KISS VIRTUAL LIVE Vol.1," their first virtual concert using the members' 3D avatars is set to be held from 17:30 on December 12, 2020.

 

The group was formed by five girls who loved singing and dancing in 2016 and have been on a national tour mainly in Tokyo. They have recently attracted attention from abroad, with successful concerts in Singapore and Hong Kong. Also, their latest music video "World Smile" has been viewed more than 500,000 times only in six days.

 

The five members of DEAR KISS will appear as 3D avatars at the virtual festival to perform a live concert, which will offer a unique experience in the virtual space that is different from their real live performances.

 

In addition, to commemorate their first virtual live performance, premium tickets with original goods designed with the members' avatar models are now on sale. The 30,000 yen (290 US dollars) ticket comes with congratulatory flower stand (with the purchaser's nickname), a video message from the members in their avatars, an original towel, and an original T-shirt, while the 10,000 yen (96 US dollars) ticket includes a smartphone stand and a T-shirt.
