Azuki has announced the exclusive license of Hamachi Yamada’s Crescent Moon Marching manga series. The series will be released in English worldwide, except in Japan. The first two chapters will be available to read on Azuki’s apps and website on March 16, 2023.

Crescent Moon Marching was originally serialized in Futabasha’s monthly Manga Action magazine from 2020 to 2021. Six tankoubon volumes were released in total. In October 2020, a 40-second manga PV trailer was released to promote the series, with voice actress Nao Touyama narrating as the series’ heroine, Mizuki Himekawa.

Azuki describes the official synopsis Crescent Moon Marching as:

To escape the stress of city life, high school, and her overbearing mother, Mizuki runs away from home to spend spring break with her aunt. But her future is looming and she still has no idea what she’s interested in… until she crosses paths with Akira, a high school trumpet player who introduces her to the world of marching band! Music, movement, and the passions of youth collide in a breathtaking coming-of-age tale for fans of Sound! Euphonium and Whisper of the Heart!

Azuki is a digital manga subscription service available online and in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. The app features over 200 series, including popular series like Attack on Titan and other titles such as Natsume & Natsume and I Fell for a Fujoshi.
