#Attack on Titan: The Exhibition Coming to Singapore on February 19
Singapore’s ArtScience Museum is set to host Attack on Titan: The Exhibition from February 19 to July 3, marking the exhibition’s debut in Southeast Asia.

The exhibition will allow fans of the series to view over 180 artworks by Attack on Titan mangaka Hajime Isayama. Spanning pieces from the series’ early days to later works, the artworks will include never-before displayed pieces as well as various drafts and sketches. At least some of these drafts will be accompanied by comments from Isayama’s Kodansha editor.

The SPACElogic-organized exhibition also promises the chance to experience an “immersive animated battle sequence” at the The Great Titan Theatre and displays of “Titans, characters, and objects from the manga”. Meanwhile, the promotional images for Attack on Titan: The Exhibition reveal “3D” Titans that are suspended from the ceiling and two “paths” to choose from at the start of the exhibition, labelled “Outside the Walls” and “Inside the Walls” respectively.

Attack on Titan: The Exhibition was first held in Japan from 2014 and made its first trip overseas in 2015. Later iterations have included displays pertaining to the manga’s last chapters. The press release describes this new iteration as the “overseas debut of the exhibition in its latest form”.

The Attack on Titan manga began in 2009 and concluded in April 2021. The manga was serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine and is published under the Kodansha Comics label.

An anime adaptation began in 2013 with WIT STUDIO producing the first three seasons, while MAPPA took over as the animation production company for Final Season. Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 is currently airing as part of the Winter 2022 anime season.
