#Ai Tsumugu Hoshi Movie Gets New Trailer

The upcoming 3DCG movie Knights of Sidonia: Ai Tsumugu Hoshi has received a new trailer. The movie is set to release on May 14. 

The movie’s staff includes several names who were previously involved with the Knights of Sidonia series, including Hiroyuki Seshita as chief director, Tadahiro “Tady” Yoshihirata as director, Sadayuki Murai and Tetsuya Yamada as scriptwriters, Akihito Nagazono as animation director, Mitsuo Yoshino as art director, and Masayuki Uemoto as CG supervisor. 

Other staff members include Takuma Ishibashi (Human Lost) as the movie’s other CG supervisor, Hironori Noji (Wave, Listen to Me!) as color designer, and Shuuji Katayama (So I’m a Spider, So What?) as music composer. Polygon Pictures is in charge of the animation production. 

The cast includes Ryouta Oosaka as Nagate Tanikaze, Aya Suzaki as Shizuka Hoshijiro, Aki Toyasaki as Izana Shinatose, Hisako Kanemoto as Yuhata Midorikawa, Takahiro Sakurai as Norio Kunato, Ayane Sakura as Mozuku Kunato, Rie Kitamura as the Honoka sisters, Sayaka Oohara as Kobayashi, Tomohiro Tsuboi as Ichirou Seii, Takehito Koyasu as Ochiai, Satomi Arai as Raraa Hiyama, Atsuko Tanaka as Samari Ittan, Takako Honda as Sasaki, Kousuke Toriumi as Kouichi Tsuruuchi, Osamu Saka as Shinsuke Tanpa, Rina Satou as Numi Tahiro, Mamiko Noto as Yure Shinatose, Yuuma Uchida as Toutarou Yamano, Yuuto Umehara as Kairi Hamagata, Inori Minase as Iroha Hashine, and Miho Okasaki as Hanma Itsuki. 

Knights of Sidonia: Ai Tsumugu Hoshi is a sequel to the Knights of Sidonia series, which is based on the manga by Tsutomu Nihei. The manga ran from 2009 to 2015 and ended with 15 volumes.
