#Princess Connect! Re: Dive’s Karyl (Summer) Drags in More Summer Fun!

Heyas, Knights!

Welcome to another installment of our Summer blockbusters. After all the fireworks from Suzume lighting up the beach, it’s time to sit back, relax, grab a drink, and take in the sun.

…Well, apparently we have been coerced into going fishing. While not as relaxing as a traditional island retreat, it is a more productive use of time, I suppose.

In that case, let’s cast our nets and see what great catch we can get this time around!

Oh buoyancy, look who just floated in on us! It’s Karyl (Summer) and she’s dressed to soak in the summer sun. She looks like she might be in a bit of trouble, though she does have her handy summer float with her. Try not to make her too angry, or she might make good use of said float in her Union Burst, which deals a large amount of magic damage to a single target. Combine that with skills that reduce magic defense while also dealing magic damage, and the Gourmet Guild’s resident hot-headed mage is prepared for all that summer has in store.

Karyl (Summer) will have boosted rates during her Focus Gacha, and will also be available for redemption using Character Exchange Points. As with the previous limited Focus Gachas, Karyl (Summer) will only be available for a limited time. Make sure to snag her before she floats away!

The Karyl (Summer) Focus Gacha will run from 7/9 23:00 UTC to 8/1 22:59 UTC

After a nice trip down to the beach, it’s time to head into the sea to catch some fish. This time, you’ll explore a desert island with Tamaki, Mifuyu, and the rest of the Mercurius Foundation. Rumors have it that this island can make any wish come true. Find out more in the special story event Tamaki and Mifuyu’s Desert Island 0-Rupie Life!

Similar to our past events, this event will also feature exclusive boss battles, where you can test your skills in varying difficulties: Normal, Hard, and Very Hard, with the most challenging difficulty, Very Hard, being clearable once per day. You’ll need Boss Tickets to earn a shot at defeating the boss, which can be obtained by clearing event stages and from login bonuses while the event is active. If you don’t successfully defeat a boss on your first attempt, don’t sweat it – you can retry as many times as necessary, and non-lethal damage dealt to a boss will carry over between attempts.

The Victory Medal Gacha also makes its triumphant, albeit somewhat expected, return for the event! Clearing event stages, event missions, and defeating the previously mentioned bosses will earn you Victory Medals, which can be exchanged for a plethora of rewards. There’s a predetermined series of reward lineups, each featuring a key reward – once you roll the current lineup’s key reward, you’ll have the opportunity to either reset the rewards and move on to the next lineup, or hold off on resetting to clear out all the possible rewards. Here are the key rewards you should look out for!

  • Lineup 1: Akino’s Memory Shard x 20
  • Lineup 2: Mifuyu (Summer)’s Memory Shard x 25
  • Lineup 3: Akino’s Memory Shard x 30
  • Lineup 4: Mifuyu (Summer)’s Memory Shard x 40

Just remember – once you’ve gone through the four initial lineups, you won’t be able to reset the active lineup until you’ve obtained all the possible rewards from the current active lineup.

As with our previous summer event, players will also be able to obtain an exclusive free unit in Mifuyu (Summer) after defeating the boss 5 times at any difficulty level. She’ll only be here for a limited time and can only be obtained from this event, so make sure to catch her while you can!

The Tamaki and Mifuyu’s Desert Island 0-Rupie Life! Story event will be available from 7/9 23:00 UTC to 7/28 22:59 UTC.

We also have another exciting content drop for the month of July! We’ll be unlocking Area 14, the Eugenia Hotlands. Blaze a trail through the cindering landscape and fight new monsters, gather new equipment, and unlock more of the main story. The new items obtained from Area 14 will allow you to rank up your characters to 4 slots at Rank 10, and you’ll be able to complete Chapter 7 of the story. Plus, you’ll find Hard stage nodes with Memory Shards for Kurumi, Shinobu, and Jun.

In addition to the new stages and the story content, the level cap is also increasing from 102 to 105! Be sure to stock up on mana and experience potions – you’ll need it! (Well, to be more precise, your characters will. Unless you yourself are consuming these potions…)

The Battle Arena Shop will also see an updated lineup with the inclusion of Ayane Memory Shards. Be sure to say hello to Pukichi too. 🙂

The new area, increased level cap, new story, and the updated Arena Shop lineup will be available after 7/9 at 13:00 UTC.

Included below is a summarized version of all the updates announced today, for easy reading and accessibility. Thank you for all your support, and we hope you continue to enjoy Princess Connect! Re: Dive!

See you in Astraea, Knights!
