#Zoro VA Kazuya Nakai Cast as My Hero Academia 3rd Film’s Original Villain

The official website for the forthcoming anime feature film My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes Mission announced today that Kazuya Nakai (Roronoa Zoro in One Piece) is cast as the film’s original villain, Flect Turn (the name’s official romanization has not yet been confirmed). The character was newly designed by the MHA manga’s original manga author, Kohei Horikoshi himself.

Flect Turn is the leader of Humarize, a mysterious organization that plans to annihilate those with “Quirks.” His theory of “Quirks Eschatology” is that “Quirks” gets mixed up and deepened with each passing generation, and eventually becomes uncontrollable.

Nakai says, “I am very excited to be a part of HeroAca, which is a globally popular series. My character Flect plots terrorism with the belief of saving humanity. He is a hero of the wrong side, so to speak. I’ll do my best to make him a realistic antagonist that is appropriate for the story to deliver in this age of conflicting values.”

The highly-anticipated third feature film will be released in Japan on August 6, 2021.
