#Aquatope of White Sand Anime Gets New PV, Additional Cast, Theme Song Artists

The official website for the original anime Aquatope of White Sand (Shiroi Suna no Aquatope) revealed a promotional video, additional cast, theme song artists, and new visuals.

The staff includes Yuuko Kakihara (Chihayafuru 3) as series composer, U35 (Lapis Re:LiGHTS) as character draft designer, Yuki Akiyama (IRODUKU: The World in Colors) as character designer and chief animation director, Kurumi Suzuki (The Day I Became a God) as art director, Naomi Nakano (Kemono Jihen) as color designer, Satoshi Namiki (Appare-Ranman!) as photography director, and Yoshiaki Dewa (IRODUKU: The World in Colors) as music composer.

New cast members include Azumi Waki as Tsukimi Teruya and Lynn as Karin Kudaka. Other cast members include Miku Itō as Kukuru Umisakino and Rikako Aida as Fuka Miyazawa. The vocal unit ARCANA PROJECT will perform the opening theme song “Tayutae, Nana-iro” (Sway, Seven Colors), and the Mia REGINA group will perform the ending theme song “Tsukiumi no Yurikago” (Moon Ocean’s Cradle).

In Aquatope of White Sand, Kukuru works at the Gamagama Aquarium, where she sees “mysterious things,” while Fuuka is a former idol who has fled from Tokyo to Okinawa. The story revolves around the encounter between these two characters.
