#Zettai LIVE!!!!!! Film Gets New Trailer, Premieres This Fall

During the live-streamed “#Air Walküre/Macross F o Issho ni Miyō!!!!!!!” event, it was announced that the upcoming Gekijōban Macross Delta: Zettai LIVE!!!!!! feature film as well as the Macross Frontier Film Short: Labyrinth of Time (Gekjōban Tanpen Macross Frontier ~Toki no Meikyū) will premiere sometime this fall. A new trailer previewing the film’s insert song “Glow in the dark” as well as the film’s second key visual by Macross franchise artist Hidetaka Tenjin and Macross Delta character designer Chisato Mita was also revealed.

The Macross Delta anime series ran from April to September 2016, while Gekijō-ban Macross Delta: Gekijō no Walkūre premiered in Japan in February 2018. The Gekijōban Macross Delta: Zettai LIVE!!!!!! film was initially announced during the “Walküre Senjō no Premium Live Event at Toyosu Pit” in September 2018 and was described as an “entirely new” film.

The Shoji Kawamori Expo opened the same month, where a story teaser for the film was revealed:

Walküre and Delta Flight used music to save people from the Vár Syndrome, a previously unknown disease that made humans and others go berserk. However, they find themselves facing a new threat…
