Zenless Zone Zero’s plot follows a post-apocalyptic yet futuristic setting in the city of New Eridu. This particular city is the only intact place in the whole world as every other part was wiped out by supernatural events forming bizarre dimensions known as the Hollows.

Later on, humanity was able to extract technology and resources from the Hollows for their benefit. As a result, corporations and enterprises flocked toward this opportunity for economic gain.

These Hollows are further occupied by monsters called the Ethereal. As a player, you must take on the role of guides known as Proxy to battle against these entities.
You will be able to unfold the story by progressing the game through a linear path.

Gameplay Features

Visually, Zenless Zone Zero retains the anime aesthetics as part of Hoyoverse’s signature art style while adding a Cyberpunk-like tone. From the gameplay videos, the combat looks fluid and satisfying, with spectacular animation effects.
The game will allow you to collect and play a variety of characters. You will be able to form a party and take advantage of each of the member’s skills during the fights. These different characters will make up powerful and unique combos by synergizing with each other.
