#You’re Going to Pay More For Hulu With Live TV Soon

Hulu With Live TV is one of the more popular streaming cable services because it comes with live TV and Hulu’s entire catalog of on-demand content. However, the service is about to change, as the price is jumping up by $5 per month, which is never fun.

According to Variety, starting December 21, 2021, Hulu With Live TV will cost $70 per month, which is a $5 jump over the $65. However, it’s not just a price increase for the sake of a price increase, as the company now includes Disney+ and ESPN+ with the subscription. Of course, no one wants to pay more, but at least Hulu is giving its subscribers something for their money.

Sure, it doesn’t sound like much, but this isn’t the first price increase and probably won’t be the last. The service went from $60 per month to $65 in November 2020, so the previous price only lasted one year. It originally started at just $40, so it’s been a long road of price increases.

Currently, YouTube TV is still hanging in there at $65, making it a slightly better value than Hulu With Live TV if you only care about the live channels. As mentioned, Hulu does come with the massive Hulu on-demand library, Disney+, and ESPN+, so it’s still a pretty good value if you want the total package.

Hulu With Live TV does have a plan that doesn’t include on-demand content, but it only saves $1 per month, so it hardly seems like a worthwhile downgrade.
