#Wyze Home Monitoring Alerts You to More (and Less) in New Update – Review Geek

Wyze Home Monitoring is one of the most affordable home security plans available, starting at $5 a month plus the price of hardware. And while Wyze offers a ton of great features with its Home Monitoring plan, users have long asked for features like silent arming. Some of these features are now available in the latest Wyze app update.

Entry Notices are one of the most notable features included in this update. Your Wyze security system can now play a sound when your doors are opened, allowing you to hear when your kids get back from school or your roommate comes wandering in at 4 in the morning.

Want to hear less? Wyze is also adding silent arming to its security system. Before now, you couldn’t silence the arming countdown on your Wyze Keypad. That means waking up the whole house when you rush out of bed to get the trash bin to the curb—not a cool look.

Finally, the Wyze app will now show sensor and alarm events in the Monitoring Events pane. This makes it easier to see  full history of your security system, whether your system is set to Home or Away mode.

To get these new features, first make sure that you’re using the latest version of the Wyze app. Then, go to Account > Firmware Update > Wyze Sense Hub to update your hardware. It should update to firmware version 4.32.4.295 or later.
