Police have taken custody of a woman they suspect bashed cops over the head with a cane on the Brooklyn Bridge Wednesday, The Post has learned.

The unidentified woman was escorted in handcuffs and leg irons from the 5th Precinct stationhouse in Lower Manhattan and put into an ambulance shortly after noon Thursday.

Exclusive video shows that although her wrists were shackled behind her back, she managed to work her hands around to flip the bird at Post journalists.

Asked to explain her alleged actions on the bridge, the woman — who wore a shirt saying “WANTED” in yellow letters — denied any involvement in Wednesday’s incident.

“I didn’t attack nobody,” she said.

The woman — who had a sock on her left foot and nothing on her right — was taken to Mount Sinai Beth Israel hospital for a preliminary psychiatric exam, sources said.

She was brought back to the stationhouse around 1:35 p.m. but said nothing as she went inside.

The woman allegedly hit an NYPD sergeant when she was arrested earlier in the day, and cops allegedly found pot in her car, sources said.
