With You and the Rain Reveals July 5 Premiere, New Key Visual

The upcoming With You and the Rain TV anime has received a July 5 JST premiere date (effectively July 6 at 1:30 AM JST) and a new key visual.

It was also announced that Shuhei Sakaguchi, Mitsuka Kambe, and Yume Miyamoto are joining the cast as Hiura, Hojo, and Arata, respectively. Additionally, there will be a pre-screening event on June 29 JST at United Cinemas Minato Mirai 

With You and the Rain is based on the manga by Ko Nikaido, which has been serialized in Kodansha’s Young Magazine since August 2020 and has seven volumes as of September 2024. Kodansha USA describes the premise as:

If it looks like a dog and acts like a dog and insists it’s a dog, it’s…a dog? Probably? She adopted it anyway, and her life with this “dog” will never be boring!
