“#WIT Studio, CLAMP, Netflix Team Up For Anime Based On Grimms’ Fairy Tales”
WIT Studio, CLAMP, and Netflix are teaming up for a new anime project based on Grimms’ Fairy Tales.
Announced at Annecy Festival 2021, the currently untitled horror and suspense anime will see WIT Studio in charge of animation production duties, while CLAMP will contribute the original character designs. Michiko Yokote (Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It) is the scriptwriter.
A teaser visual featuring three characters was released.
Netflix had announced a partnership with CLAMP and several other Japanese creators back in 2020.
