#Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? Features Jeanne in 3rd Character PV Trailer
A new third character PV trailer has been released for the upcoming Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? TV anime, which features the kind-hearted, silver-haired Jeanne. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan in July 2024.
Tatsuma Minamikawa (Pon no Michi, The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess) is directing the anime series, with Satoru Sugisawa (Love After World Domination) as series screenwriter and Hiromi Kato (The Kingdoms of Ruin) as character designer. Project No.9 is handling the animation production for the anime.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast includes:

- • Haruka Shiraishi as Jeanne
- • Lynn as Falin
- • Hana Hishikawa as Reirein
- • Seiichiro Yamashita as Ashran
- • Sayumi Suzushiro as Saki
The anime adaptation is based on the fantasy light novels, written by Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World author Kei Sazane and illustrated by neco. It was published by Media Factory’s MF Bunko J from July 25, 2017 to August 25, 2020 for a total of nine volumes. The series also inspired a 2018 manga adaptation illustrated by Arikan.
Bookwalker Global describes the story of Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? as:
War between the five races on earth – the humans, the “Demonic Race”, the “Wild God Race”, the “Spirit Race” and the “Phantom Beast Race”- has ended in the victory of humans. It is said that “Prophet Sid” had sealed the other four races in the black pyramid now called “Crypts”.
Kai’s job is to watch the crypts and make sure that there is no change. He is also training to save humans when the other races break the seal and come back to this world. The crypts looked quiet today…but after Kai felt the world bending in front of his eye…everything changed.
“World Rebirth” was activated…!!
Now Kai is in a totally different world where no one knows him. But he remembers everyone!
