#White Sox vs. Brewers prediction: Play the Under

“#White Sox vs. Brewers prediction: Play the Under”

The White Sox have overcome some adversity themselves, winning five straight entering Tuesday after a 1-4 start, thanks in large part to a pitching staff that has given up more than four runs just once in the past seven games.
Veteran Dallas Keuchel should lend some length to a bullpen that had to get 21 outs in the first game of the series, as he has gone five or more innings in 20 of his 21 starts since the beginning of the 2019 season. In his two starts this season, he also has walked just one batter, and he’ll have the benefit of facing a Milwaukee team that has struggled at the plate.
Christian Yelich, who entered Tuesday 3 for 31 (.097), needs to pick it up with starting center fielder Lorenzo Cain opting out of the season.
Though Adrian Houser may not be a household name, he should do his part to keep the Brewers in the game, as he has allowed three runs or fewer in 10 of his past 11 starts while giving up 6.9 hits per nine innings with a 3.16 ERA.
These two offenses are on opposite ends of the spectrum but with a pair of solid starting pitchers, the scoring should stay low and the game close.
The play: White Sox-Brewers, Under 9¹/₂ runs.
