#AmaLee Joins VShojo as Monach VTuber

Popular US-based VTuber agency VShojo has signed in Monarch, the VTuber persona of singer-voice actress AmaLee, as its latest talent. The announcement was officially made through a teaser video uploaded by the agency on YouTube and X (Twitter).
Another video, uploaded by Monarch herself, also highlights that with her joining the agency, she will be re-debuting as well with a new look dubbed “Mafia Monarch”. This is AmaLee’s fourth new look since she first debuted in December 2021.
She mentioned in her tweet that this reveal was a year and a half in the making, and has clarified that her joining the agency was outside of VShojo’s active recruitment for new talents for their English and Japanese generations.
“This reveal has been in the works for almost a year and a half, and just to clear up any confusion I was not a part of the auditions, but I’m so excited for the future debuts of new members,” shared the VTuber.
Monarch joins current talents GEEGA, Kson, and Haruka Karibu — who partook in VTuber activities under their current activities prior to joining VShojo.
AmaLee, whose real name is Amanda Lee, has already made a name for herself through her English covers of popular anime and J-pop songs. She has also provided the English dub voices for characters such as Ai Hayasaka in Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, Bibimi Kenranzaki in My Hero Academia, and Marin Kitagawa in My Dress-Up Darling.’
VShojo, founded by Justin “theGunrun” Ignacio and Phillip “Mowtendoo” Fortunat, currently has 15 talents.
The agency has a number of English-language talents, including Zentreya, Ironmouse, Projekt Melody, Apricot, Hime Hajime, as well as GEEGA and Karibu. Under the VShojJP banner, it has Kson and the recently-debuted VShojo NOVA unit, consisting of Akatsuki Hotaru, Hestia Happiness, Yutori Peke, Okamoto Nagi.
Moreover, they also have Henya the Genius, Kuro Kurenai, Matara Kan, and Michi Mochievee, all of which were solo debutants much like AmaLee.
