#Washington Square Park squatting ‘Jesus’ strips for naked rain shower

The homeless man who calls himself the “Son of God Lord Saviour Jesus Christ,” and has taken up residence in Washington Square Park’s fountain, stripped naked for a cooling shower in the rain on Saturday.

While stunned parkgoers gawked, city officials once again looked the other way.

Cops and city Parks Department workers have kept their distance all week from Matthew Mishefski and his new home inside the Greenwich Village landmark.

But the hands-off approach seems to have emboldened Mishefski’s clothes-off philosophy.

The shower scene occurred as demonstrators gathered at a Black Lives Matter rally just beyond the fountain.

Afterwards, he munched on an apple and donned a sarong, remaining shirtless.

Then he walked on the fountain’s rim, but didn’t make it all around because a Black Lives Matter organizer stopped him from passing by the stage.

Mishefski has continued squatting despite visits from numerous NYPD officers, Parks Department employees and homeless-outreach coordinators who have done little about his presence, The Post reported.

“Bulls-–t,” Mishefski said when asked what support the homeless services outreach workers offered him.

The 25-year-old from the Wyoming Valley in Pennsylvania says he’s autistic and has spent time in psych wards.

He has been squatting at the drained fountain since May, in a makeshift home that now includes a table, six chairs, a pink recliner, a box of clothes and a beach umbrella.

A unicorn stuffed animal doubles as companion and a pillow.
