Gawr Gura and Murasaki Shion of hololive have released a cover of Kana Hanazawa’s Renai Circulation. The visuals draw heavy inspiration from the opening sequence of Nadeko Sengoku’s arc from Bakemonogatari, where the song is originally from.

The music video was composed by Yunarun featuring illustrations provided by Chyoke. Razu Nekono did the arrangement for the track which was mixed by Zugu.

The duo intended to release a cover of Yuka Iguchi’s Platinum Disco from Nisemonogatari alongside Renai Circulation on June 13, however faced difficulties due to YouTube’s content algorithm. The cover is likely to be released once these difficulties are resolved.

Gawr Gura is an English language Virtual YouTuber and part of hololive English. She debuted on September 13, 2020 alongside Watson Amelia, Ninomae Ina’nis, Mori Calliope, and Takanashi Kiara. She is currently the most subscribed-to VTuber in the world with over 3.9 million subscribers on YouTube. She overtook the former most subscribed VTuber, Kizuna Ai, in 2021.

Murasaki Shion is a Japanese Virtual Youtuber associated with hololive. She debuted in August 2018 as part of the branch’s second generation of VTubers alongside Oozaru Subaru, Yuzuki Choco, Nakiri Ayame and Minato Aqua.

hololive Production is a Japanese virtual YouTuber agency and subsidiary of Japanese tech entertainment company Cover Corporation. As of June 2022, the agency manages 68 unique talents.

hololive has 50 million fans across its YouTube channels according to the agency’s official website.
